Friends Matter!
Who are we?
Friends of the Woodinville Library (FWL) is a group of volunteers who love the Woodinville Library and work to support its mission in our community.
What do we do?
We raise monies to supplement KCLS funding for things like children's early literacy programs, family concerts, teen and adult programming, staff appreciation, and special purchases for the library.
How do we do that?
Our generous community donates used books to the Woodinville Library. FWL volunteers sort these books and sell them in two ways: every day on the Lobby Shelves and at annual book sales.
How can you participate?
1. Donate your gently used books. 2. Buy used books from our Lobby Shelves and at annual book sales. 3. Purchase an FWL membership.
Why join?
Memberships support our work. Benefits of membership include knowing that you too value our library and want to make a statement in its support. In return you get preview privileges at the book sales, volunteer opportunities at library events, an annual newsletter updating you on what your membership has funded at the Woodinville Library, and the opportunity to participate with your voice and vote.
