About the Woodmont Library
The Woodmont Library was designed by Bassetti Architects and funded by the Library District bond issue for new construction and from capital funds. King County Library System's newest branch opened its doors on Monday, March 13, 2000, with a formal ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony on Saturday, March 25, 2000.
The library's reading area, children's and young adult areas, public meeting room, computers, a wide variety of materials (books, magazines, newspapers, music CDs, videos and DVDs, books on tape and CD), and convenient location on Pacific Highway, as well as its access to the services and collections of the King County Library System, make this library a popular destination.
